CHLORINATION SYSTEM
Progresive Crest Sdn Bhd specialized in chlorine dosing system. Chlorine is a powerful disinfectant. As a disinfectant, chlorine will kill bacteria, virus and many other microorganisms. Chlorine has been used for over 100 years for this purpose. Virtually all municipally treated water has chlorine added to their water. Often municipal systems add chlorine in a couple different phases of their treatment process.

PACKAGE WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM
Progressive Crest Sdn Bhd specializes in the design, installation and commissioning of custom made package water treatment system for a wide range of potable water & industrial application. We are proud to offer our clients a long tradition of quality, reliability and services. Our Package Water Treatment System is a compact and skid mounted water treatment system to produce drinking water for rural areas, small communities and industries. It combines the conventional physio–chemical treatment system and media filtration to filter feed water (river water) turbidity and suspended solids. Its key features include modular design, reliability, safety and ease of operation. It is cost-effective and uses high quality components and materials to produce the safest drinking water. It is simple to operate and maintain. The system is easy to install, confining civil works to a concrete slab and drainage connections to the sewer. Being modular, this equipment can be expanded by installing additional units to increase output when required.

SLUDGE DEWATERING SYSTEM
Progressive Crest Sdn Bhd provides total dewatering solution. Most wastewater treatment processes produce a watery sludge byproduct. Disposing of this sludge can often prove very expensive and for that reason, a sludge dewatering system is a great option for reducing costs. By dehydrating the solid byproduct, the weight and volume of product is reduced, delivering major cost savings. Hence, a good saving in terms of handling & disposal cost.

Decanter centrifuges are used in industrial applications for the continuous separation of solids from liquids where the volume of solids is relatively high. The job of the centrifuge is to concentrate the amount of solids to just over 20% and remaining water, known as the centrate, is as free from solid particles as possible.

When the centrifuge is up to speed the sludge, a mixture of solids and liquids, is pumped into centrifuge by an external pump through a feed tube into the feed chamber. The effect of centrifugal forces causes the solids to move towards the outside of the bowl and a separation of solids and liquids occurs. The conveying action of the scroll moves the solids towards the steep angle of the bowl where they are ejected through a number of discharge ports and fall into a collecting container under gravity. The liquid phase runs over the weir plates at the other end of the rotating assembly and collected in a tank and pumped away.
